Dinosaurs from birds?

One of the things that aggravates me the most as a Christian regarding the evolution v creation debate is the insistance that lots of evolutionists have that Dinosaurs came from Birds.
The idea is ridiculous when there are lots of flying animals such as Bats that would make a better candidate for such a theory but funny thing is they are still Bats not Dinosaurs.
The fact that Dinosaur footprints fossils have been found in various places alongside man's fossilised footprints is also conveniently ignored by evolutionists.
Also we have living descendants of the Dinosaurs in The Komodo Dragon and the various Monitor lizards around the world and the varieties of Crocodiles.
Below is a link that talks about a fossil bird being found in the stomach of a fossil dinosaur.
Now there's food for thought.
What came first the dinosaur or the bird?

By the way I support Creation as the Bible tells it in case you didn't guess.
